BeltLine's Enota Park nears its first opening

The middle section of the 8-acre, $14 million Enota Park on the Westside Trail is on pace to open in September, with the rest of the park following through November.

Construction on Enota Park, an 8-acre BeltLine park between the Westside Trail and Westview, has a half-court basketball court freshly poured, a completed boardwalk through the tree canopy, and a finished restroom and maintenance building. The Atlanta BeltLine expects the middle section to open in September, with the remaining two sections following by November.

The $14 million project, designed by Pond & Co. and built by Reeves Young, broke ground on Earth Day 2025 and is funded through the BeltLine tax allocation district, a state neighborhood-improvement grant, city bond money and philanthropic gifts led by the Coca-Cola Foundation.

What to watch

The exact September opening date for the middle section, and whether the upper and lower sections stay on track for November.

BeltLine Starts Northwest Trail Segment 3B

Construction has started on Atlanta BeltLine Northwest Trail Segment 3B, a nearly one-mile link from Trabert Avenue to Tanyard Creek Park. The route will bridge Northside Drive, pass through Atlanta Technology Center and under I-75, connecting five northwest Atlanta neighborhoods to the completed Segment 3A and Northside Trail. Atlanta BeltLine lists late fall 2028 as the expected opening.

ATL Spoke extended its autonomous shuttle route to the Atlanta University Center for the fall semester, linking Spelman, Morehouse and Clark Atlanta to the West End MARTA station and the Southwest Trail.
